Don't order during heat wave

These are usually one of my favorite protein bars. Unfortunately I ordered during a heat wave (a basic summer for where I live). The bars melted during shipping and taste absolutely horrible. I won't make this mistake again.

Quality Control

I have ordered the Carmel sea salt bars in the past and they are my favorite. This time I ordered 2 boxes and so far I have not been happy. They are so hard and crunchy it’s hard to eat them. The ones I have eaten seem to taste ok but I am very disappointed. Seems as if the manufacturer has some quality control issues.

Begs for more

Honestly, I have yet to come across something at Bariatric Foods that is disappointing, but this one did it for me. The sea salt caramel outside layer is DELICIOUS, but the inside part of the bar is so hard, it literally hurts my teeth to bite a piece off. I thought maybe they were expired and dried out, but the expiration isn't for another 13 months.
