However, this is not always the healthiest choice given the amount of calories and fat in their dish and the portion is always way too big. I was so happy to find this healthier alternative that I can enjoy after bariatric surgery.
I have a huge sweet tooth and this can be challenging as a bariatric patient because we all know sugar is our enemy. I have spent the last several years finding healthier desserts that I can enjoy after weight loss surgery and by far one of my favorites has to be banana pudding.
The great thing about this recipe is there is no chopping. All you have to do is throw it all into a blender and mix it up! I absolutely love adding the blue raspberry jump start to my smoothies. It gives such a nice flavor and is packed with B-vitamins to give you a great boost of energy.
