Preparing for ThanksgivingIt’s that time of year again. The time that a lot of bariatric patients dread because food is everywhere. Thanksgiving is a wonderful celebration with family and friends, but after weight loss surgery, it can be quite challenging. Life can be very different for bariatric patients because the way we look at food has to change. It takes time to truly learn your new lifestyle after the procedure, which can make the holiday season a little harder.
Spring is near!It is officially March which means Spring is almost here! When you are on a weight loss surgery journey, one of the most important things you can do is get up and move. During the winter months, it can be challenging to get the initiative to do this. It feels so much darker and it can be easy to just sit on the couch all day. Spring brings new life which gives so much fresh energy that we all need on a weight loss surgery journey.
