The Best Bariatric Blog — stay active

Following Bariatric Guidelines while on Vacation
The weather is finally starting to warm up and we are all starting to come out of quarantine a little more. This means some people are starting to take vacations again. If you have recently had weight loss surgery or are still within your first year after the procedure, you might be a little nervous to take a little break and go somewhere. If you are like me, you might be a creature of habit and hopefully ever since your surgery, you have been forming new healthy habits that you are starting to make into your new routine. When we go on vacation, we are obviously out of our routine.Â- Kimberly H.

Spring is near!
It is officially March which means Spring is almost here! When you are on a weight loss surgery journey, one of the most important things you can do is get up and move. During the winter months, it can be challenging to get the initiative to do this. It feels so much darker and it can be easy to just sit on the couch all day. Spring brings new life which gives so much fresh energy that we all need on a weight loss surgery journey.- Kimberly H.
