SHIPPING

All orders over $75 receive FREE shipping. Orders under $75 are charged a flat rate of $4.99.

We do our best to ship out all orders the same day that they are placed. Orders received weekdays before noon are more likely to ship out that same day than those placed later in the day. We use FedEx Ground and USPS for shipping (based on the weight of the package and the distance that it's traveling). Once your order ships out, you will receive an email with the tracking information so that you can see where your package is currently located. You will also be able to track your package from the "My Account" tab on our homepage. Transit time varies from 1-4 business days, depending on where you live.

Insulated shipping may affect how quickly you receive your order. We do not want your insulated order to sit on a truck or in a hot warehouse over the weekend, so we may hold your order until the following Monday to avoid this. To guarantee that you receive your insulated shipment the same week, please place your order on a Sunday or Monday.

Orders over $200 may require a signature to receive the package. This helps prevent lost or stolen packages that are left on the porch or at the front door.

If you have special shipping instructions (leave on porch, deliver to side door, etc.) you can write that in the Order Comments when you place your order or give us a call and we will be sure to notify FedEx or USPS. You can also call FedEx at 1-800-GoFedEx and give them your tracking number to add special instructions to your delivery.

RETURNS

We want you to be happy and satisfied with your purchase from Bariatric Food Source. We will gladly fix any order that was incorrect, missing items, or accept your original order for return if the return is a result of our error. Any claims or returns must be made no later than 10 days after the items have been delivered. If you do not receive your package because it is lost in transit, you have up to 30 days to contact us in order for us to help locate the package. If we are not notified within that time frame, we will not be able to assist you in locating the package.

Unopened products can be returned for a full refund as long as the packages aren't damaged. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase, or as store credit, usually within 1 to 3 business days of our receiving your return. If the refund is due to a shipping error by us, then we will refund your shipping charges for returning the items to us. If your return is not due to our error, we will deduct the return shipping costs of your order from your refund amount.

If you decide that you do not like the taste of a product after trying it, you may return the product if there is only one bar or packet missing from the box. We will refund you the price of the product in the form of a store credit. You are responsible for shipping the products back to us. Vitamins and supplements are not returnable once they are opened. During summer months we are NOT responsible for the melting of chocolate products while in transit. We pack as well as possible to prevent melting, but once your order leaves our premises, the weather is out of our control. No returns or credits on protein bars or any chocolate product because package contents have been left on your porch or outside in the heat. If your order contained bars with coatings that have been in the heat - unpack carton contents, and without touching or handling the individual bars, place boxes in your refrigerator for about an hour. They will re-harden and suffer no loss of nutrition, they may suffer some cosmetic changes but they will still be delicious.
