|Insulated Shipping Containers are used to help prevent chocolate and caramel products from melting while in transit for delivery. The Insulated Shipping comes with an insulated cooler box and an ice pack.

|We do our best to package your products so that they do not melt, but once your order leaves our offices we have no control over how FedEx handles your package. With the rising summer temperatures, we know that chocolate and caramel bars melting becomes an issue and we are doing everything we can to help you receive your products unmelted. If your bars do arrive melted or soft, simply put them in the fridge for about an hour and they will reharden without losing any nutritional value.
It's a good idea to place your order early in the week (Mon. or Tues.) so your package doesn't sit in a FedEx warehouse all weekend.
We are also now offering the option to have your package shipped to you in an Insulated Styrofoam Container with a Polar Icepack in the box. This insulated container is placed inside a cardboard box for extra insulation and shipping strength.
All orders placed before noon on business days will be shipped out that same day. We ship with FedEx Ground & FedEx Home Delivery. Once your order ships out you will get an email with the tracking information so you can follow up on where your package is currently at. You will also be able to track your package from your Account on our site. Typical east coast shipping time is 2-3 days, and west coast shipping is usually 3-5 days.
If you have special shipping instructions (leave on porch, deliver to side door, etc...) you can write that in the Order Comments when you go to place the order and we will make sure to notify FedEx. You can also call FedEx at 1-800-GoFedEx and give them your tracking number to add special instructions to your delivery.
We want you to be happy and satisfied with your purchase from Bariatric Food Source. We will gladly fix any order that was incorrect, missing items, or accept your original order for return if the return is a result of our error. Any claims relating to incorrect shipments must be made no later than 7 days after the items have been delivered.
Unopened products can be returned for a full refund as long as the packages aren't damaged. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase, or as store credit, usually within 1 to 3 business days of our receiving your return. If the refund is due to a shipping error by us, then we will refund your shipping charges for returning the items to us. If your return is not due to our error, we will deduct the return shipping costs of your order from your refund amount.
If you would bought a powder or bar product and after trying it you decided that you don't like it, we will accept returns on products missing just one packet or bar from the box, and we will refund the product in the form of store credit. During summer months we are NOT responsible for the melting of chocolate products while in transit. We pack as well as possible to prevent melting, but once your order leaves our premises, the weather is out of our control. No returns or credits on protein bars or any chocolate product because package contents have been left on your porch or outside in the heat. If your order contained bars with coatings that have been in the heat - unpack carton contents, and without touching or handling the individual bars, place boxes in your refrigerator for about an hour. They will re-harden and suffer no loss of nutrition, they may suffer some cosmetic changes but they will still be delicious.
